Hotset has extensive experience solving heater related problems for form fill and seal OEMs and End Users. Form fill and seal applications can see heater failure modes related to movement, moisture, and fit to bore. Sealing performance, and machine cycle time are greatly impacted by the heat profile of the heater across the working surface of the jaw.  In fact, newer packaging films have tighter temperature tolerance requirements to obtain the best sealing performance.
