Band and Strip Heaters
Band and strip heaters are a proven and cost effective heating technology. Generally used in larger surface area applications not requiring the precise heat distribution of a coil heater.
Band and Strip heaters are built with three primary construction methods Mica and Ceramic

Low to moderate operating temperatures (400F-450F max with secure clamping)
Recommended to 30 w/sq inch watt density.
Requires secure mounting for best heat transfer.
