Anti-Seize Cartridge Heaters
Available for both Medium watt density and high watt density cartridge heaters is the option of anti-seize coating. Anti-Seize coating will give you some extra help on the hard to remove heaters while keeping work and damage to your costly tooling to a minimum. This special coating is impregnated to the stainless steel, providing a durable coating that will not wear off and can only be removed by mechanical means. With this coating we are still able to hold our precision Hotset tolerance. Also our anti-seize coating is recognized by the FDA.

- Maximum length is 30” as standard. Special length can be accommodated for up to 43” however a special quote must be prepared.
- Coating thickness can be varied from .012mm to .018mm – thicker is possible with special quote.
- Heater diameter is manufactured to be within standard finish tolerance after coating is applied.
- When using a Teflon end seal there will be a ring of heater approximately .250” long at the lead end that is not coated. This should be avoided if possible.
- Standard delivery 5-6 weeks after order is placed. Specials may be accommodated on a case by case basis.
