New think tank for injection molders and toolmakers

In Lü­den­scheid, the sys­tem cen­ter for in­dus­tri­al tem­per­a­ture con­trol tech­nol­o­gy goes to the start .

Af­ter sev­er­al months of prepa­ra­tion, the Sys­tem Cen­ter for In­dus­tri­al Tem­per­a­ture Con­trol Tech­nol­o­gy (SIT) starts its work these days. The start-up is a fa­cil­i­ty of the ther­mo­dy­nam­ics spe­cial­ist hotset and of­fers pro­fes­sion­als from plas­tics tech­nol­o­gy and tool­mak­ing the op­por­tu­ni­ty to learn first-hand in full about the per­for­mance of the Z‑system. The high-speed process for par­tial-cy­cle cav­i­ty tem­per­a­ture con­trol is con­sid­ered by ex­perts to be one of the most im­por­tant in­no­va­tions in the field of var­io­ther­mal mold tem­per­a­ture con­trol. It will be pre­sent­ed in an ENGEL in­jec­tion mould­ing ma­chine in the new Sys­tem Cen­ter. The Aus­tri­an ma­chine man­u­fac­tur­er and sys­tem ex­pert sup­ports hotset’s tem­per­a­ture con­trol process with in­no­v­a­tive in­jec­tion mould­ing technology.
